LG64 Beyond loneliness
Jesus said:
A man would someday receive guests.
And after he prepared the meal,
he sent his servant to pick up the guests.
He went to the first and told him:
My master invites you.
This one answered:
I still have a case to deal with merchants.
They are coming to me tonight. I have to give them my orders.
I ask you to apologize for the meal.
He went to another and told him:
My master invites you.
And this one answered:
I just bought a house and am occupied all day.
I don’t have time to come.
He went to another and said:
My master invites you.
He replied:
My friend is getting married and I need the wedding feast
take care of. I can not come. I’m asking you to
apologize for the meal.
He went to someone else and said:
My master invites you.
This one answered him:
I recently bought an estate and I am on my way to collect the lease.
I can not come. I ask you to apologize.
The servant returned and said to his master:
Those you invited to the meal
have apologized.
The master said to his servant:
Then go outside, along the roads, and bring
whoever you meet comes along for the meal.
Buyers and sellers will be my dad’s places
do not enter.
