Rituals

Who cooked the most delicious food in your childhood?

What were regular (annual) rituals?

Did your father ever tell you that he is proud of you?

Justin Hunt’s documentary Absent talks about the greatest universal wound known to mankind. It is absent fatherhood. I have frequently asked during my work as a trainer if people have ever heard from their father that he was proud of them. Rarely is the answer “YES”. Often people “know” that the father is proud, but he has never said it out loud. This has a great impact on a person’s self-esteem.
